Trainee Therapist

I have experience in Gestalt therapy and chose this form of counselling as I like to work very much ‘in the moment’ with my clients. As a therapist, I aim to show empathy and compassion for clients at all times, whilst offering a space that is ‘safe enough’ to explore challenges, both emotionally and physically. Having originally trained as an actor, I try to offer therapy from a place of ‘wholeness’, including what’s happening in the voice and body, as well as the mind. I also love to work creatively with clients, offering a space to creatively explore through experimentation and imaginative exercises. I am also experienced in breathwork and guided mindfulness and bring this into the therapy room if I think it is helpful, too. I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and adhere to it’s professional conduct guidelines at all times.
